Day 7, silence before the storm (tomorrow!)

So I had a nice and long night of sleep. That always does my voice well!

Daily Practice:
2 hours with a choir (Bridges V.E.), working on Bradley Ellingboe's Requiem. A beautiful piece of classical music! Difficult and demanding though. Tenors sings high very often, so that was also a good tech exercise.

We are preparing this Requiem for our concert in Carnegie Hall on May 21st. Exciting! You can hear one movement here:

Later on that day I worked on "Younger than springtime" and the rest of my musical theater selections. I think I've finally memorized most of it! HALLELUJAH!!!!

Healthy Meals:
Breakfast, plain porridge (the one you prepare on a stove, not in a microwave of course!)
Lunch, whole grain mini tortilla with turkey ham, cheese and tomato.

Today, I have also did my laundry. About time... about time.

Right now I'm just about to take off for a concert at Lincoln Center. I'm going to see NYC Ballet in action! Episodes, Concerto Barocco and The Four Temperaments. Can't wait!!!

Tomorrow!!! 2 gigs at Symphony Space!!!!
