Day 28, performance day!!

Daily Practice:
at least 40 min of vocalizations and all I need is the girl

Coaching session:
60min with Kat Sherrell. Great great great, she's great! I'm not but her greatness is affecting me!
Did all I need is the girl about hundred million times, and also you've got to be taught.

Healthy Meals:

Poached eggs on whole grain toast, turkey ham (I microwaved it till it was crispy haha! FAT FREE!) and cherry tomatoes.
Different little vegetables, a bit of beef and rice.

Vocal Performance!
Still haven't done it, but I did a sound check already so I guess I can write about it! I'll be performing at New World Stages, All I need is the Girl (and also a bit of Irish dancing!) at A Benefit Concert for Japan. And here's the best part: among well-established, amazing Broadway performers. It's such an honor...
I'll tell you how it went tomorrow!

Peace out!

Day 27, I am EXHAUSTED!

Because I started a day by waking up at 6 am to do my

Good Deed:
Working at West Side Campaign Against Hunger from 7 till 8.40. So before it opened, I was carrying fruits and vegetables into the "shop" as the only man there and once everything was on its place, I was packing bread and rolls into bags for a further distribution! Not too much interaction with other people... thank you... And while I was doing that, I was listening to different recordings of my voice classes / coaching session to make sure I have my "All I need is the Girl" in a top shape! Or at least that I could not say, I could have done better. I took a photo of the Church where it's all taking place, with my mobile phone, as I didn't have my camera with me. And now I haven't got a clue how to put that photo on my computer so I took a picture of my mobile displaying the photo. Clever, eh?

Then I rushed to my place, to work a bit on the movement for the concert on Saturday, and once clock turned 10, I started my

Daily Practice:
about 60 min, vocalizations and All I need is the miracle, THE GIRL I mean. Funny, anyone? No? Ok...

Then,

Demo recording:

In a studio in Brooklyn. As hard as it was, I had so much fun! I do know, and realize, that it's not perfect whatsoever. But it is what I am, and how I sing right now. I did my absolute best, I practiced every day for the past month and this is how it sounds like. Do I wish it was better, OF COURSE but I am sure it will! I solemnly promise to work on it so it's spot on! Till then:

I went to school after that, to take Kurt Robinson's performance class in which we went through... all I need is the girl... He's just great... Gave me a lot of tips and corrections, mostly concerning my choreo/movement. Oh boy... It's quite overwhelming! Extremely pleasurable, I love working on singing, and "moving", and musical theater in general, but it's a long process and a hard work!!
After that class I took

Fitness:
Tap with Ben and Miller. I had the stomach ache of a century! I was ready to give a birth to a hippopotamus, but I fought it through and stayed in the class!

Now I'm home, about to take a shower... I guess I will do it with my two tickets for Wicked that I can't go to see tomorrow. I hate my life.

Look what I've found on a subway! Do not look into its eyes!!

Day 26, getting things done!

So,

Good deed:
I was helping out at West Side Campaign Against Hunger, where people "buy" food for points. I  had the wort job to do. Whenever someone run out of points while checking out, I was supposed to take it back to shelves. It wasn't bad cos I had to carry stuff around. It was bad cos part of me died a bit every time someone was refused a small bag of pasta, can of sweet corn or a quarter of a cabbage. Anyway, they need a lot of help every day and they asked me if I could come tomorrow at 7am. I promised I would.

Daily Practice:
30 min of vocalizations
10 min of working on All I need is the Girl. All I need is the miracle though...

Fitness:
Ballet with D. Koppel
For the VERY first time, I have completed her Adagio correctly... almost... but at least I knew what's going on!!! I also danced it next to Kristen which made it a lot of fun. Summer timeeee.... your daddy's poor and your mamma's disgusting... haha!

Private Vocal lesson:
45 min
with Mdme M. Zhorella- Fedorova.
worked on breathing and support technique for the better part.
I brought her flowers as a thank you for her work on the piece I sang at Carnegie Hall.

Healthy Meal:
I went all green for a lunch! Well, yellow to be honest! Had a massive box of pineapple. I only realized I need to take a photo of it once almost all of it was gone! Haha

Coaching session:
60 min with Kat Sherrell. We've worked on all of my songs but concentrated on All I need is the girl (for the obvious reasons). We cleared the diction, sorted out my breaths and many other stuff that I can't even remember right now but I recorded it all so it's just a matter of listening to the recording and then about 20 milion years of practice. Easy. We did some acting too! Good stuff...

And now, I'm soon off to a vocal rehearsal with few people from BDC, to work on 21 guns for our upcoming concert...

I do have a lot of going on...
